The carport was better than expected and delivery went smooth. Put it together with no issues and plenty of parts. There were a couple of poles that had some small dents in them but they're against the garage so you can't see them. Of course the user guide does state take it down in bad weather, and not designed for all weather - but we all know thats only to cover themselves from warrantee claims for not using logic when it comes to harsh weather.. This handy shed is manufactured from high grade, slow grown, FSC approved, European pine cladding boards over 34mm square framing with OSB roof and floor. With twelve fixed, acrylic windows that can go either side. Dip treated base coat preservative ready for top coating. All fixings, roof felt and assembly instructions are provided. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

Delivery was fine, the driver phoned 25 mins before he arrived. it is a kerbside drop, it is written in the paperwork that they wont move the shed to the back garden or a place of your choosing so be prepared to lug it yourself. As provided I would rate this shed as 1/5 but with an amount of work 4/5 A good concrete or slabbed base is essential. Allow about £250 for what you also need if you want a good shed. The shed is best painted before assembly, I bought 2 nine litre tubs of Cuprinol Ducksback wood care. I used about 75% of what I bought. The floor will not take any type if weight and is not fit for purpose so I bought 7 1220mm x 2440mm x 18mm OSB3 boards to cover the floor pre assembly. The ends of the side and end panels will all need trimming to obtain any chance of a good fit. You will also need to measure the width of the side panels as the middle roof panels will need trimming to the same length as they need to match on assembly. The roof will support no weight of anybody climbing on it to screw the roof down or attach roof felt. You need to put all the screws you can to pin the roof down then where you can't reach add brackets between the roof and cross members inside the shed. The roof felt will need to be attached across the roof not down the roof as in the plans. Lay the felt over the roof after cutting to size and I suggest pushing over the top with a rake then use Thompson's high performance roof seal 2.5 litre black from screwfix to seal the different felt strips together and the felt tacks for along the guttering. I used a telescopic extendable window cleaner that will hold a brush to cover the seams with the sealer. I also added weather strip to the doors and modified them for my own needs. The framing is a mighty 3" x 2" (44 x 70 mm) square, significantly larger than even our standard framing, giving the building immense strength. The modular design means you can swap the window, door and plain panels with each other so you can have the layout you want. The lockable, mortice and tenon joinery doors double doors and window frame are pre-hung for easier assembly. The doors are also fitted with security hinges. The cladding is high grade 12 mm shiplap, with the roof in 12 mm matching T&G and the floor is heavy duty 16mm Buffalo. The internal working height is over 6 feet at the eaves providing a really comfortable working environment for the vast majority; again this is significantly higher than many of the cheaper sheds. There is one roof truss every panel. The two opening windows are storm resistant, traditional joinery quality frames glazed with 3mm glass. All of the timber is sourced only from very slow grown, high grade, FSC approved, European pine. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
