The metal daybed frame also provides spacious under-bed storage space and keeps it firm to ensure a sweet night's sleep. The bed size is to the point that easy to match any kind of mattress. The metal daybed can be used in two ways, as a sofa and a single bed, which is suitable for all seasons.

A really nice day bed for the price. Doesn't make any noise. Takes a standard single mattress. Comes with all the tools you need. I made a mistake with the 2 silver metal pieces in the middle...They go inside the frame, not on the outside. It was pretty easy to put together other than this!. Karen. Huntingdon, GB. Overall, it’s a nice looking bed but feel the quality could be better, and it took a while to put together. This is a job for two people - one person to pull the two parts together, and the other person to align the part, and to then screw the bolts in. The bolts weren’t very good either in going in, and were very fiddly.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 25 2026

I was able to choose the delivery date which was convenient. I received a confirmation email followed by a reminder before the delivery date. The day before I received notice of the time for the 3 hour slot. On the day I was contacted by the driver to say he would be there in half an hour and he was. We paid to have it delivered to a room and all that happened as expected. My husband unpacked it and it was assembled within half an hour. I was nervous because I had never bought from Wayfair before. I bought the chaise because I have sciatica and I need to lay flat to relieve the pain. I was a bit concerned that this chaise was much cheaper than many others and that it might be a bit fragile or the fabric might be an odd colour but honestly it is really stable, it looks really good and the seat is supportive yet comfy. I am both surprised and happy with my purchase. What a bargain moreover it allows me to sit and watch TV but if my hip starts I can lay down.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 27 2026

Treat your guests, the Buxton bed has a beautifully crafted framework that conceals a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. The maximum load baring for the Buxton bed is 120kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. Andrea. Angus, Scotland. Mon Sep 21 2026
