Another open-box win. Fairly straightforward to assemble - many reviews comment that it needs two people but I didn’t have any trouble on my own (maybe I just have really long arms). I was able to choose the delivery date which was convenient. I received a confirmation email followed by a reminder before the delivery date. The day before I received notice of the time for the 3 hour slot. On the day I was contacted by the driver to say he would be there in half an hour and he was. We paid to have it delivered to a room and all that happened as expected. My husband unpacked it and it was assembled within half an hour. I was nervous because I had never bought from Wayfair before. I bought the chaise because I have sciatica and I need to lay flat to relieve the pain. I was a bit concerned that this chaise was much cheaper than many others and that it might be a bit fragile or the fabric might be an odd colour but honestly it is really stable, it looks really good and the seat is supportive yet comfy. Great day bed. Use in daughters room to double as a sofa for her. The back isn't as high as some other day beds but perfect for what we wanted and comfy. The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. The maximum load baring for the Buxton bed is 120kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.
