It is actually pretty comfortable if you don’t sit on the seam. It is firm but softens over time. The feel of the material is soft, which I like. It isn’t slick, but feels like worn leather. It is holding up beautifully — no problems. I paid about $250 more than the current price. So this is a good deal. I feel that it was a good investment and I am happy! Terrible. The sofa was delivered and did not have the legally required fire safety labels. This was important as the furniture was for a holiday chalet. Wayfair initially said they would get the compliance documentation but never did.
