Excellent sturdy ironing board. Think of it as a piece of furniture though as it’s too heavy to keep moving regularly. It’s fine for me as I always leave the ironing board out. Pleased to find it’s made in Italy and replacement covers are easily available. I saw other reviewers complain about the iron rest. This ironing board is absolutely worth the money. While it’s larger than a standard ironing board, the extra workspace makes ironing so much easier and more efficient. The built-in hot pad and smooth, easy height adjustment controls really set it apart from the competition. I haven’t had to clean the cover yet, so I can’t speak to how well it holds up over time, but I’m hoping it’s just as user-friendly as the rest of the design. It’s clear that a lot of thought and attention to detail went into making this ironing board. The sturdiness is exceptional—there are no wobbles, shaking, or sudden drops, even when applying extra pressure to remove stubborn wrinkles.
