This is a fantastic little playhouse which actually ended up being bigger than we had originally thought, hard to visualise from the photos. It only took an hour to build with all included parts and instruction book very easy to follow. This handmade playhouse will be popular with both children and adults. It is a classic design with pretty glazing and a small roof canopy complete with balustrade railings making a cute feature in your garden. Other design features are a glazed diamond shape window to the door, daisy door handle and mock antique hinges. It is made from high grade, FSC approved Northern European pine shiplap boards. It complies with BS EN 71 the safety standard and carries the CE mark. Safety features include a full-length safety hinge and the joinery made, fixed windows are fitted with plastic safety glazing. This little house is clad in 12mm shiplap boards on sturdy 34mm square framing with a T&G roof and floor. The playhouse is finished in a honey brown basecoat treatment ready for painting or staining after installation. The painted model shown is for illustration only. With regular wood preservative, this den will last for many years. All fixings and roof felt are provided along with assembly instructions. Some reviews have shared concerns about the quality on delivery, some items being missing or holes in the wrong places and instructions difficult to follow. I didn't find this and whilst it took time to build it is now put together well and is good. One thing that isn't clear in the photos or description is that there are not trays in each of the 5 water levels. They are actually soft plastic/ polythene liners that are screwed in to place.
