I bought this arbour to replace my old one, which had rotted due to the difficulty of repainting all the fiddly bits. This one looks really good and was very easy to paint I altered the layout when assembling so that the side panels had the smooth sides facing out so that the rain would run off easier instead of sitting on the little ledges, and it was easier to paint. The only downside with the quality was that there were a few places where the nails had come through or missed the struts when the arbour was made at the factory and one or two splinters, and bad nail gunning. I painted all the parts prior to assembling (and after) which made it easier to get into all the little splinters and rough bits, and also there could have been a few edging strips to hide and protect the edges where back and front panels met, and the diamond at the back could have done with a decorative strip to hide the nails. HOWEVER Overall for the money it is good value. I am making a couple of ledges for the side windows to hold a cup and it will also hide/protect the edges of the panels.. Vivienne. The Rowlinson Modena arbour has horizontal slats to give a contemporary twist to a classic arbour design.

Great bench, easy to put together just remember front and back panels are different at the top and bottom , one allows seat to sit flatly. I can see from some other photos the lid does t sit properly. It’s under a glass veranda but will give a coat of mart varnish soon. Very pleased.. Nicola. Lincoln, GB. Fri Dec 31 2021

With its Eastern influence, the Rowlinson Jaipur Arbour will make a stunning edition to any garden that will quickly become a favourite spot to sit and enjoy.

Wood is green in a lot of places so clearly been stored in a damp place before delivery. Most of the screws were rusty too. You’re stuffed if you don’t have a drill because no holes are pre drilled so you have to drill the holes to fix it together. To be fair I suppose once finally finished then it’s nice too look at and comfortable to sit on. Will need to be painted at some point I think though. Was delivered within a few days.. Helena. A great bench which arrived promptly. The great thing about Wayfair is that it delivered to me on the north coast of Scotland which is sometimes a struggle to find a supplier that will do this. So often I fill in all my details only to receive an email sometime later telling me that “we don’t deliver to the Highlands and Islands”. Thank you Wayfair!. Don. Thurso. Sun Jun 21 2026
