I've just finished building this for my garden. It took a while - a couple of the base slats were a pain to connect and I also wasted time looking for screw holes in the base - they're not there. You just have to screw through the stand sides into the wood. It looks lovely - I'm really happy. Tip - the wood is treated so don't make my mistake of white shorts - I was pretty dusty lol. Pots are made from Scandinavian Redwood and it is treated in an oil based preservative. All pots come assembled except raised beds where you need to fix legs. Your pots are supplied with one coat of the 'Taylor Brown' oil based preservative. To help protect and extend the life of your planter we strongly recommend for you to apply another coat every 6-12 months. Wood is a natural product and may expand and retract depending on the weather conditions therefore we can not be held responsible for cracking, splitting, warping and shrinkage as this is a natural occurrence, because of this it may be necessary to check the tightness of the bolts/screws. Resin is occasionally present in the timber and is no detriment, should this appear simply wipe with a cloth/white spirit.
