Pleased on the whole with this kettle. Although rainbow effect is a bit far fetched. My only gripe is that it has a blue light when on standby! So I have to turn off at the mains. When the kettle is on it has a red light glowing.

This kettle does not do rainbow effect, i was pretty dissapointed, you press onto boil the bottom turns red then when it clicks changes to blue. Would not have bought this if i knew if wouldnt do as described. BUT it is good quality so not all bad lol
