I wanted this trash bin because of the handle bar open. Motion sensor was out of the question for me because of my narrow kitchen and I shied away from step cans because of accidental opens. It looks good but the steel is thin, thinner than cheaper trash cans I've seen for 1/3 the price. The first one I received had a big dent on the edge. The box and shipping box were not damaged. The second one I received was perfect. The handle bar and manual closing becomes tedious and I wish I opted for a step can. Love this bin !! Just what I needed. I’ve eliminated two bulky bins to this lovely sized one. I use the top bin for recycling and the two smaller ones for general waste.
