Looks exactly as on the pictures, bright and pretty. The stripes on the larger plates look a bit uneven in each stripes width, but maybe it is meant to be like that. Good quality, but to call the coffee cups mugs is stretching out a bit. Of the 3 sets available with plates, cups, and saucers these are the largest at 0.22l. The others are more classic teacup shape, but smaller at 0.20l and 0.14l respectively - and the latter also having smaller bread plates in place of side plates and smaller saucers. Mugs are available separately or with bowls, and these are a more respectable 0.37l and can be classed as mugs ) But I love the quality and the shape of these pieces. This is a lovely set, especially when partnered with the dinner plates and pasta bowls set. It’s for 6 not 4 so perfect for groups it’s classy but understated it’s great for both occasions and every day. It is fine china though, so not as robust as other dinner sets.
