Protect your table with this fantastic set of six cork-backed placemats, which feature a stunning, pale grey, marble-effect print. Darker, earthy shades of grey smudge across the print, creating a natural, mineral effect. There are six table mats included: ideal for dinner parties and wine and cheese tasting with friends, or simply for brightening up everyday dining after a dreary day. Simple, but beautiful, they’ll blend in easily on the family dinner table, beneath dinner plates brimming with exquisite, home-cooked food. Combine your set of six table mats with the coordinating, larger set of four, measuring 40 x 29 cm (15½ x 11½ inches) (5234292), or the coasters (5234294). Why not treat your own table, or give them as a gift? They would make a lovely present for housewarming or wedding parties.

Dinnertime will quickly become the most sparkly time of the day, with these placemats on hand. Soft shades of teal and cream are divided by a scattering of golden specs in this inspired placemat design, which echoes moments of natural beauty, like a summer sunset over the sea. The rectangular shape is topped with a luxury, lacquered surface that’s wonderfully smooth to touch. It’s stain-resistant, easy to wipe clean and will work hard to protect your surfaces. At 0.5 cm thick and backed with cork, the mats will keep hot dishes away from your tabletop with a heat-resistance of up to 120°C. To seal the deal, the edges of the mats are lacquered too, so they’re durable and resistant spills and moisture from wet plates and dishes.

I'm very pleased with the place mats and coasters. The image is beautiful and goes very well with my colour scheme. Not 5star because one mat is slightly damaged on the corner a shame but hopefully i will forget about it and not notice! The place mats are larger than I expected so maybe didn't need the drinks coasters. Very pretty and stylish design.. Julie. Lansdown Bath, GB. Sun Jan 30 2022

High quality, looks great ! Really pleased with how it looks. Anonymous. Wed Feb 21 2024

Cork has so much more potential than being a stopper in a bottle of wine. It's a real wonder material, and this four-piece cork placemat set is setting out to prove it. First, let's talk about looks. These natural table mats show off the raw beauty of unfinished cork, with a printed terrazzo design that adds an attractive modern touch. They're perfect for everyday meals and will bring a lighthearted, fashionable feel to the table. They'll keep it well protected too, and they'll hardly have to try. The high-quality cork forms a robust natural barrier against scratches and marks. It's heat resistant to 90°C (194°F), so you don't have to worry about scorching them. It's naturally antimicrobial too. And anti-slip. And spill-resistant. The benefits keep piling up. Want to cut down on plastics and over-processed materials? Cork makes for an eco-savvy choice because it can be harvested without killing the tree. This means it's readily renewable. Fallen in love with cork yet? You get four placemats in the set, each measuring 29 x 21.5cm (11.5 x 8.5 inches). Do not soak.
