Karin. Duisburg, DE. Sun May 02 2021

No country celebrates tea making quite like Japan. Bring its sense of ceremony to your own tea routine with this beautiful Asian-inspired teapot from La Cafetière. It's based closely on the classic "Tetsubin" design, which forms an integral part of Japanese tea culture. Like the original, this black Japanese teapot is made of high-quality cast iron and is decorated with a traditional hobnail texture. Add it to your collection, and it will make your teatimes feel a little more relaxed and mindful, as well as looking beautiful on display. La Cafetière has added a couple of modern conveniences too. Firstly, it includes a removable, rust-resistant stainless steel infuser. This makes it easy to enjoy loose-leaf tea and has a fine mesh to catch leaves while extracting those delicate flavours. Secondly, it has an enamelled interior. Together with the cast iron body, this helps to trap heat to keep tea warm. Because it's food safe and inert, it preserves the true flavour of your tea too. A drip-free spout and a sturdy, hinged handle complete the design. Treat yourself to a little taste of Japan, or gift this cast iron Japanese teapot to a friend. It would make a beautiful and thoughtful gift for anyone who loves tea and Japanese culture. Capacity: 600ml / 3 cups. Not suitable for stovetop use.
