This is a lovely set, especially when partnered with the dinner plates and pasta bowls set. It’s for 6 not 4 so perfect for groups it’s classy but understated it’s great for both occasions and every day. It is fine china though, so not as robust as other dinner sets. Good quality, but to call the coffee cups mugs is stretching out a bit. Of the 3 sets available with plates, cups, and saucers these are the largest at 0.22l. The others are more classic teacup shape, but smaller at 0.20l and 0.14l respectively - and the latter also having smaller bread plates in place of side plates and smaller saucers. Mugs are available separately or with bowls, and these are a more respectable 0.37l and can be classed as mugs ) But I love the quality and the shape of these pieces.
