With its smooth base and high rim, it is suitable for both pan dishes and roasting meat and fish, as well as stewing vegetables. It can be used on all types of stoves and in the oven for further cooking. The cast-iron stores the heat particularly well and slowly releases it to the food. This means that all ingredients cook evenly and retain a full, tasty aroma. Thanks to the two handles, it is practical to use.

The STAUB cast iron plancha, or teppanyaki, can be used for cooking as well as serving purposes. It can be used on the hob and in the oven and is perfect for the BBQ. The Steam Grill Pan enables a new, healthy cooking method. It combines the advantages of grilling and steaming, which saves up to 30% of the cooking time! 3 in 1: The steam grill pan can be used for steam grilling, as a grill pan for grilling or as a steamer for steaming. For steam grilling thanks to the extra-high grill grooves with optimal heat conduction, the grooves become hot all the way to the top, grilling the food crispy with a beautiful grill mark and giving it fine roasted aromas. After browning, simply add water to the pan, reduce the heat and put the lid on. The high grooves work like a steamer basket: The food does not come into contact with the water but cooks gently in the steam. With the steam grill pan, you save up to 30% of the cooking time, and the food remains juicy tender with fine roasted flavours. As a grill pan thanks to the extra-high grill grooves, you grill completely without additional fat. The escaping fat drips off and is collected in the deep grooves, nothing swims in the fat - the healthier way of grilling. As a steamer for steaming when steaming, the extra-high grooves function like a steamer basket: The food does not come into contact with the water and is gently steamed with the lid closed. Thanks to the high-quality non-stick coating, nothing sticks and the pan is very easy to clean. The pan is suitable for all types of stove, including induction, and can also be used in the oven with a heat-resistant lid.
