The photos seemed to suggest tinted glass, but it's clear. Nevertheless, it looks great. I took a risk and opted for a clearance piece (opened packaged). The lamp arrived in one piece and in good condition, but the Polystyrene/styrofoam packaging was abosolutely decimated. Not sure if if it was shipped that way or it happened in transit. The clean up after unpacking was super annoying.

*Pictures do not do this ANY justice!* I honestly gasped when I unboxed these lamps. They are stunning!! the glass see through base is exquisite and the shade is made from quality material in a gorgeous satin pewter colour. It is the most happy I’ve ever been with a Wayfair purchase.
