I wanted a modern clean looking living room light. I really liked all the options, which was the whole reason I chose this light. It has six different colors of varying lumens, to customize for decor and ambiance. Everything is at the touch of a button, with an easy to use remote. Installation was pretty easy after watching a video. The construction of the light is sturdy and well made. The design of the different individual components is very thoughtful. How the upper lights are internal facing with a diffusing cover. Then the lower lights that I especially like, how they utilize acrylic for external light diffusing. It feels gentler on the eyes. With this Livingandhome light, the simple symmetric loop design offers options to fit your style while still satisfying your need for light. Don't buy this light. It does not spread cosy, warm, ambient light as the description suggests. Instead it forces retina melting photons out with the same ferocity as a sun which is 10x the power of ours. It is not dimmable. Just don't get it. You will have regrets, it will also cause serious spousal irritability. Suitable for use in a laboratory or operating theatre and maybe warning vessels at sea of treacherous rocky coastlines.
