It is beautifully but it is wobbly, I had to stick a wooden board underneath, which I will have to paint to match. One piece was cracked, but wayfaire did replace free of charge. It takes a day to build and requires someone who understands electrics. Not for DIY novice. Very impressive when on, bulbs cost £27 pounds E14 led candle bulbs. I have asked wayfaire for a gift voucher partical refund as its £247, and wobbly! It is potentially dangerous. The base stand should be wider to counter balance the large heavy top. I have it in the corner against 2 walls but it would be completely unsuitable in the middle of a room or in a wide open area or near children. Finished in modern matt black and natural wood, the floor lamp will be a statement piece in any living area, bedroom or dining room. Pendants and table lamp also available in the range. LED's use up to 75% less energy and last up to 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Switched on, it looks great. We haven't put it in situe, as we are refurbishing our sitting room and there is more work to do. However, the lamp's finishing isn't great, so up close and turned off it isn't exactly a wow. However, when switched on the lamp has a real impact. It has three brightness settings, which is good but not as adjustable as hoped. The base is well-weighted, but I am still concerned that the single piece of wood doesn't quite sit at right angles to the base. We will see.
