After my electrician installed this fan, we found that the transformer and the remote didn’t work. Luckily, Wayfair sent me a new part immediately. However, once up and working, I found that the high setting isn’t very effective at all, it’s rather noisy and the dimmer light doesn’t dim, it flickers annoyingly or on full is so bright that my eyes see the imprint of the led shade after looking away It’s expensive but the quality in my opinion falls short. This fan is quiet and would suit pretty much any environment from modern industrial to classy and tradition settings. The 5 speed speed motor make light work of getting the breeze just right, it’s reversible to so you can get the cooling down draft or just a circulation of draft free air. Shame that the reverse motor can not be engaged from the wall mounted control panel, it has to be actioned on the fan which is not ideal, but I knew that when I bought it, so not really a criticism more of a recommendation for future improvements. Would definitely recommend.. Paul. North Walsham, GB. Wed Dec 09 2020
