I was hoping for a quality lamp from Voyage Maison but was very disappointed. 1st off the delivery was in 2 packages delivered on 2 separate days with no information beforehand regarding this. The box containing the lamp assembly was open on delivery and I was amazed all the parts had made it. Onto the lamp itself, the shade is OK but the pattern does not line up on the join so you have to make sure this is hidden when assembling and locating the lamp. The base of the lamp is small and lightweight and does not give very good stability, cable hangs loosely from the top of the unit and looks unfinished. On assembly you have to insert the upright into the base with a steel collar, this is not a tight fit so the whole thing wobbles and has no fixing so just pulls out easily. I'm sorry to say I have nothing good to say about this lamp and at a price point of £225 its a joke. I was lucky enough to get this on sale but is still overpriced for the quality.. Neil.
