You can put the floor lamp in any corner of the room as you need. This floor lamp is not easy to tip over because it has a stable base. You can keep the direction of light as you like by turning the head of the lamp.

Well packaged. Tiny chip at base of one shade but completely hidden when put together. Easy to put together. Problem is the storage compartment in base of lamp for excess electric wire is not ideal, as it requires wire to be folded too much and squeezed into compartment, rather than being wrapped in a circle (like the base of an electric kettle). It creates a softer light if you angle the lamp up towards the ceiling, otherwise the light was a bit harsh and it made shadows. Crated from metal, this goose neck floor lamp is the perfect addition to your study or cosy reading corner.

Overall I like this lamp shade. The base is heavy which means there’s no leaning, easy to assemble and has a classic look which compliments the age of our home. I’m going to change the shade for a more colourful one though.
