This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. Pros nice height, stable base, real woodstrong construction, removable basket liner pillows Cons Can be a bit wobbly with multiple large cats - though they have tried 2 in a single basket with no problems. Especially the lovely and cozy cave, step-like perches, post wrapped completely in sisal, as well as the scratch mat were all in hot demand. Animal applause was also received for the white imitation fur. The two testers could snuggle up perfectly on top of these and felt as if they were floating on a cloud. I love this cat tree, I would of preferred the top hide out to not have a hole in the floor base as they cannot sleep inside that one, can only jump up into this one and then down through the hole into the middle section. the new cat tree looks great, but the color is darker than the picture. I bought it because the old traditional cat tree broke after 4 years. The scratcher is easy to assemble, the floor to ceiling is briliant idea, but still is wigle a bit, but it's not a problem, because it can be attached to the wall.
