Dakota Fields Small Animal Cages

This handcrafted duck house with internal chambers for added safety from predators. Supplied with ground fixings to prevent predators from tipping over the house. Flatpack format - very easy to assemble.

Bought to house rescued baby woodland mice, now released - roof appears waterproof, just as good for any hedgehogs needing a home. Norma. North Somerset, GB. Thu Oct 29 2020

This sturdy fir wood feeding station offers the perfect environment for allowing hedgehogs to feed safely, out of the way of predators. The station has three chambers; simply place the food in the middle chamber and the hedgehogs can make their way through to tuck in in safety. The entrances are 11cm across so wide enough for welcome visitors, but too small for foxes and other intruders. An entrance at each end keeps access simple wherever the station is placed. The asphalt skinned lid of the feeding station is hinged for easy filling and cleaning access, with a prop strut in the middle to hold it open. When closed there’s a metal latch with a snap hook to keep it shut. Whilst a hedgehog may well move into the feeding station, placed away from other shelters this feeding station will help keep the hedgehog population in the vicinity. The hedgehog feeding station comes flat packed and requires assembly; all fixings are included, and we recommend setting aside 30 minutes to complete the task.

The lovely wooden insect houses provide a safe environment for all small garden creatures to shelter, hibernate and nest, where they won’t be disturbed by gardening or landscaping. Insects like ladybirds and lacewings are very useful to have around, as they provide natural pest control for your plant thanks to their appetite for aphids. They will make their home in the dry, dead wood in the house, along with some elusive creatures like beetles and centipedes if you’re lucky. Made from natural wood. Can be left freestanding or fixed to the wall.

Overall excellent communication around delivery, product was exactly as ordered and to my satisfaction and delivery time was very quick after placing the order. Anonymous. Thu Apr 04 2024

This wooden tunnel is designed to attach to an existing hedgehog house or shelter, providing a protected entrance and exit way for the prickly inhabitants. The doorway measures 11cm, so small enough to encourage hedgehogs, but deter bigger intruders. The tunnel measures 36cm in length and comes flat packed so requires home assembly. A metal hinge is also included so the tunnel can be attached firmly to your hedgehog house.

tad small for my small bun but lovely none the less:). Anonymous. Thu Aug 30 2018

The large outdoor enclosure is a great addition to any barn. With approx. 1.4m² of exercise space, your rodent has plenty of space. In the integrated house, he also finds a retreat. The roof of the house is covered with a metal plate. So your rodent is also protected from rain or strong sunlight. The lid can be opened and fixed with a hinge. The free-wheeling can easily be connected to another enclosure or barn using the two doors. For this purpose, the two side flaps can be completely removed, so that a permanent passage is open. The lid can be opened on one side. This allows you to reach the inside of the enclosure quickly and easily. All of the grids in the enclosure are made of powder-coated metal. This protects the free range from predators and the rodent itself cannot destroy the bars.
