WE have upgraded from a medium to large cage due to dog growing, this cage compared to the last one is very flimsy, we are worried our dog will be able to get out, the locks don’t have a bend on the end so could be knocked open, front gate our dog has already chewed the bars squeezing them together (the other cage she cold not do this) cage seems very flimsy and we will need to get a more sturdy one, don’t buy if you have young dog that could get out. Love the quality and aesthetic of the product, good size but quite heavy so requires two people to build. It arrived with slight damage (chip to the wood and scratches on the metal sides). There seems to be an issue with the top lock on the outside, when my 13 week old puppy taps the door with her nose the lock drops down and opens so she’s managing to get out so is currently cable tied in til I can fix it. I was worried about one review saying the Toledo crate was not worth the money. I disagree. So much so Im going to buy another for upstairs in my bedroom. Its really heavy. Note to others... Sturdy but not completely aligned. The doors on the cage are tricky to open and close and the lock bits do not properly line up. Also, the plastic tray lays underneath the bottom bars, so your dog is lying on bars and not a tray. We didn’t realise this when ordering. However it is nice looking and very sturdy.. Steven.
