WE have upgraded from a medium to large cage due to dog growing, this cage compared to the last one is very flimsy, we are worried our dog will be able to get out, the locks don’t have a bend on the end so could be knocked open, front gate our dog has already chewed the bars squeezing them together (the other cage she cold not do this) cage seems very flimsy and we will need to get a more sturdy one, don’t buy if you have young dog that could get out. This was the second crate we brought for our puppy as he grew larger. We was extremely impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the smaller size we had of this same crate. Looks exactly like the pictures. Slightly bigger than a typical medium crate but much better looking in my living room. It creates more of a comfortable, safer feeling place for my dog compared with a complete metal crate which even with a blanketcover and bedding would clatter when she moved about in it. The lock is sturdy and again makes much less of a nose compared with a metal crate. It also provides usable space on top. The only downfall is that the quality of materials its made out of isnt the best you can tell it wont take many knocks before it looks tatty. Great cages for our doggie mobile van. Quality of metal is really good. Have a drill handy as the only hiccup I ran into was that some of the brackets that connect the cages were not lining up due to the welds in the corners not letting the bracket into its proper place. Love the quality and aesthetic of the product, good size but quite heavy so requires two people to build. It arrived with slight damage (chip to the wood and scratches on the metal sides). There seems to be an issue with the top lock on the outside, when my 13 week old puppy taps the door with her nose the lock drops down and opens so she’s managing to get out so is currently cable tied in til I can fix it.
