Before buying the rug I queried Wayfair as to the color tones: were they more of a light Sky blue or Teal blue?... But they were not able to answer adequately (as understandably, items come from various vendors and Wayfair Customer Service can only rely on what their Vendors tell them) ... So I ordered a small rug (as basically a color sample). As a former Designer I will attest to the background being more of a (lightish) Teal Blue and defiantly NOT a light powder Sky Blue. That said, it's a very lovely rug, especially for the price...athough not sure if I'm going to order the 8 x 10. Yvonne. White Plains, NY. Wed Jun 26 2019

The impressive structure of the pattern is emphasized by the mixture of two yarns. The fine polyester yarn (processed up to 55%) ensures the durability, but also the soft feel of the carpet. In combination with the gently shiny viscose yarn (processed up to 45%) The result is a really extraordinary fabric (1300g/m²) that gives every room that special something. Since the Orelia rug is very easy to clean (height 7mm), it can not only be used in the living area, but it also completes the design of the dining area. In the hallway, this rug is a real highlight. "

Whether it's a modern or classic interior that you prefer, this plain rug looks beautiful in any room be it a living room, bedroom, child's room, hallway or library. Plain-coloured rugs look interesting on any type of floor—carpeted, laminate, parquet or tiled. This rug is very durable, hard-wearing and easy to clean. It's anything but boring. The single colour gives a room a calm touch. Viscose is a fibre chemically produced from cellulose. In several steps, various chemical compositions are processed to create a viscose filament yarn. This filament yarn is then cut to create the viscose fibre. Viscose fibres are often used in combination with other fibres such as cotton, wool and polyester. Viscose impresses with its extreme absorbency and is mainly used in the textile industry and in medicine. However, the advantages such as absorbency and elasticity are also appreciated in the processing of machine-made carpets.
