More than anything else, area rugs are art for your floors: They create the mood of your decor, guide the layout of your furniture, and establish a colour scheme to follow (or rebel against). A new rug can, and will, dramatically change a room – the fun part is picking the one you love! This one for example: is handwoven in a geometric pattern in a beige and yellow colour palette. It is crafted from jute and cotton. To clean this piece, we recommend professional cleaning when needed.

This is a lovely chunky rug but I wouldn't really call it brown. It's more like a dark grey bordering on black. It has quite a cool tone, which doesn't work if you were looking for a warm chocolatey brown rug (like me!). Apart from the colour which is actually fine but not what I was looking for, I do quite like it. It's quite thick and and a decent weight which I'm hoping means it won't shift about when walked on. I attach a picture in which I've tried to capture the colour.. Caroline. Camborne, GB. Tue Jul 07 2026

Handcrafted in India from natural fibers, this eye-catching power-loomed rug adds sophisticated style to any corner of your well-appointed home. Its rust-hued colour palette pairs perfectly with warm wood floors for a contrasting look, while its understated silhouette blends effortlessly into any casual or formal aesthetic. Lean into this piece's versatility by adding it to a nautical entryway ensemble comprised of a clean-lined console table topped with mermaid figurines and metal candle lanterns. Adorn nearby walls with weathered oar decor and vintaged map canvas prints for an antiqued take on the seafaring style, then match it with a shimmering sunburst mirror for contrasting flair. Equally at home defining space in the den or anchoring high traffic areas in the living room, this handsome rug is a must-have addition to your space.

Sisal is known for its strong, durable, and hardwearing properties, making our Sisal rugs are the ideal rug to put in any high traffic areas such as your hallway, living rooms and kitchen. With a woven construction and classic boarder in a complimentary colour, this Sisal rug will add style and comfort to any area of your home. Choose from a range of four colours. Due to the latex backing, these rugs don’t need any underlay adding. Regular vacuuming with a strong brush-suction is all that is needed for daily care of sisal and seagrass carpets. The beater-type cleaner is not as effective due to the weave. The strong suction of the vacuum pulls out the fine dirt which has accumulated between the fibers. Sisal is super absorbent and will hold onto liquids. If a wet sisal rug doesn't dry completely, it can develop mold and mildew so it's important to use as little water as possible when cleaning. If your sisal rug does end up getting wet, allow it to dry completely before placing it back on the floor. How to dry clean your sisal rug 1. Begin by sprinkling baking soda or corn flour on top of the rug. 2.Leave the powder to sit on the rug for about one hour in order to absorb all the dirt.3.Shake the rug to remove excess powder.4.Afterwards, use the upholstery brush to vacuum the rug.
