The Somerset Bed frame is made from solid Brazilian pine that has been reliably sourced. The simple slatted head-end and high foot-end create a lovely-looking bed frame. It is finished in a rustic waxed color that will complement any decor. Kiln-dried solid pine slats make for a very sturdy bed. 4FT, 4FT6, and 5FT have a center support running from head to foot and also center feet. The look can be completed by adding the Under-bed drawers that will fit under any size of the bed frame to add extra storage or the Trundle bed that will fit under the 3FT only and will add an essential extra bed.

Happy with the bedframe BUT only after the assembly problem was resolved. I had to phone the guys to come back as the top of both the footboard and headboard were loose. Photo 1 loose part, Photo 2 secured. There is NO inclusion in the instructions to ensure the bed is secure and because there was no instruction to manage this issue, they took photos and left. I was being left with a bed which was insecure. Not good for Wayfair's reputation. At the point of ordering, I had chatted to an agent about the delivery cost which more or less doubled the price of the bed. Had this not occurred the review would have been 5 stars.. Elizabeth. The bed is completely unsuitable for purpose, is flimsy and broke the second my 8 year old lay on it. I’ve had to buy a tonne of solid wood to reinforce it as it’s beyond flimsy After it collapsed I checked the weight limit and it says 0kg! This is NOT a typo…. It cannot hold any weight and is basically a decorative item…. Be it not a good one as chipped and cheap looking. Do not buy. It is a terrible quality bed. I ended up taking the parts to the recycling centre after partially making it. It came with so many smaller pieces that did not align properly. The white laminate chips. The joins don’t line up. You are also expected to line up the internal wooden baton edging to hold the mattress on the outside frame yourself. I wasted £140 on this.
