Very poor quality - over 30 years putting together self-assembly furniture and this is worst self-assembly furniture I've ever received.
Some parts not cut to exact correct size, some screw holes misaligned and the dowels not aligned to the pre-drilled holes. Luckily I managed to improvise and put it together after a fashion. The bottom part is not stained/finished to match the rest of the cabinet. I did think about sending it back, but with some decided to keep them after fixing various bits with some minor woodworking skills.
I bought 2, and both had issues to some degree - although the second was a lot better than the first.
Colour is a lot darker than on the photo - finish feels as if it's been waxed. Not sure I like the colour that arrived - I plan on giving them both a good sanding and re-staining.
Overall it's a shame, for the price I feel I'd have been better buying some reclaimed wood and building them myself from scratch. For the quality you get, probably worth about £40 quid not the £86 that's being charged.. Andy. Leeds. Mon Jun 05 2023
