Country / Farmhouse 6 Drawer Pine Chests Of Drawers

The Corona Narrow 6 Drawer Chest, the chest of drawers is expertly crafted from solid pine and hand waxed to preserve as well as enhance the grain. It offers outstanding value for money with 6 drawers that would be a welcome addition to any room. It is finished off with black metal fittings which give the item its distinctive Mexican styling and offers that warm rustic country charm. The item has hardboard backs and drawer bases, its delivered flat packed for easy home assembly with step-by-step instructions.

The overall look of the unit is good, though a little awkward on the sequence for construction with the drawer rails difficult to fit after putting the frame together. The worst part is actually the tolerances in construction, with 0.5 mm mis alignment in the frame. However, most of the drawers are badly made with only one fitting together without a problem. The others end up with excess wood sticking out and stopping the drawers from sliding in to the unit. Measurement shows up to 2mm difference in the recesses also some of the pre drilled holes for the drawer sides are not in line and the screws fail to go in the required direction, just catching the edge of the wood causing it to split. To complete building this will require remedial extra work to make the required adjustments. If you are not up to the required wood work please do not buy, you will just be frustrated by the result. A fine-looking chest of drawers and every bit is wood. Capacity of drawers is excellent, deep and wide. Two issues, however. The dowel rods are flimsy. Three of them broke during assembly. Why not add a pound or two to the price and supply metal dowel rods? And the instructions are less than clear - they don't explain where the painted bits or the plain wooden bits should go! Some of us failed elementary woodwork at school. But would I buy another one? Affirmative!!. Roger. West Linton, GB. Fri Oct 14 2022

This fits perfectly into the alcove! Great price for what I wanted in comparison to others. It came flat packed and took me 1-2 hours to complete with a drill. Great instructions and no damage on arrival. Drawers can be a little stiff on the wooden runners but is to be expected and is no problem. Very pleased and would definitely buy again!. Stephanie. Offering essential storage to any bedroom, with a mixture of large and small drawers. This beautiful 6 Drawer Chest is a modern collection will create a warm and comfortable feel to any home.

when the drawers arrived we opened the package to find one of the back legs had broken off we tried to contact the supplier but had no luck the leg had been roughly glued then screwed on in the end i had to repair it myself i have also found that the item is not all oak but is made up of knotty pine i think the advert is misleading and should be altered but all said and done the drawers do look good in the bedroom and it is difficult to find drawers that are that tall.
