I found this easy to put together, on my own it took 1 hour 30 mins. The drawers are deep and it is solid... Only bad thing is it is far darker than pictured which is misleading. Just what I expected - A lovely bit of wood, enjoyed the assembly (for the most part) However wish the instructions were a lot simpler to read as I spent ages trying to decipher which set of instructions applied to each part of the drawers. A fine-looking chest of drawers and every bit is wood. Capacity of drawers is excellent, deep and wide. Two issues, however. The dowel rods are flimsy. Three of them broke during assembly. Why not add a pound or two to the price and supply metal dowel rods? And the instructions are less than clear - they don't explain where the painted bits or the plain wooden bits should go! I think this is pretty good value for money and the finished product looks very smart. I'm actually about to order another one. few tips to help with assembly. You will see the top drawer runner impedes you when fixing the top to the frame so would suggest leaving it of until the top is fixed. Another tip is to use the base to align the sides/front of the drawers during assembly and don't try to over tighten the screws as the timber is a softwood. Hope this helps.. James. Glasgow, GB. Item arrived very quickly. The box containing the screws was damaged and a handful had escaped into the main bo, but thankfully all there. Pretty easy to put together. My only annoyance was that the side panels of the drawers is super soft wood. So it was very easy for the screws to puncture that wood, when being inserted. Nice roomy chest of drawers. Had a bit of trouble putting one of the drawers together as the base was a bad fit and the holes for the skirting on the front were at a 90° angle to the ones on the side so the screws wouldn't go through but on the whole good value for money..
