I would probably have gone for a honey coloured pine if one had been available but the one thing I have worked out is that pine is not popular anymore and I wanted something to go with furniture I bought back in 2002. If I could have found something preassemled I would have but this was the best I could do under the circumstances. It is solid wood and a good price for what it is. It is also fairly easy to assemble. I am quite pleased with it now it’s up, but I was cursing in the middle of building it because some of the screws are at bit of an odd angle. Wardrobe turned up damaged after being delivered in damaged boxes and no instructions. Have to now wait 1-2 days for instructions to be emailed so I can then order new pieces so I can build my wardrobe. I’m 7 months pregnant and is a hassle I don’t need. Cleared my bedroom ready for the build and now having to wait due to Wayfair customer services not being all that helpful. I’ve bought from here before and never had a problem but this time round I’m extremely disappointed! Product looks good based on undamaged pieces but couldn’t say otherwise. Anonymous. Arrived damaged poor made of poor quality chip board. Unfortunately the instructions were not clear the individual pieces of the wardrobe were not labelled it was very difficult to differentiate which part was what ! After two attempts, this thing is still not built. We have assembled a lot of flat pack furniture over the years and have never had a nightmare like this. It is completely unintuitive, comes with no written instructions, and is of poor quality. By this point we are sure this thing was designed using AI. The holes for the runners are in the wrong places. The pieces are not numbered. Will never buy this brand again and unfortunately now have less trust in Wayfair as a supplier.. Anonymous.
