good quick delivery. packing okay, the plastic strip for the back boards broken into lots of bits, due to two back drawers section allowed to slide in box, plastic strip in-between. found it easier to pre drill draw holes as screwheads are easy to strip. anyhow still it finished up okay and looks good. Finished unit is good. Assembling it was not as easy as expected. The dowels are too small and constantly fall out while trying to use them in assembly. Most of screws are too thick for the holes provided / both these issues made assembly challenging. Unit is built with some modifying work done by us to overcome the problems - it does look ok thought and is a good solid set of drawers. Will not buy anything that needs home assembly.. Elizabeth. The drawers are excellent and fit the space I wanted them for perfectly. Unfortunately the manufacturer wasn't careful sending this to me and there were broken bits inside. This stunning 4 drawer chest has a Mexican style featuring black metal fittings with decorative studs and a waxed finish. The wax lifts the grain of the wood creating a distressed rustic look. 3 standard drawers and one deeper bottom drawer combine to provide you with generous storage options. The four drawers all feature decorative molded fronts, with real dovetail joints for extra stability, and glide on wooden runners with drawer stops to prevent them from being over-extended. The cabinet frame and drawers are solid pine with strong plywood used for hidden surfaces such as the cabinet back and the drawer bases.

For the price I’m very happy. Good finish and looks good in-situ and also smells very nice! 2 person assembly better but easy enough to assemble on your own although beware it is heavy in the box. Reason for 4 stars not 5 is due to the drawers as they are main from very soft wood and don’t feel that solid and because some of the pre-drilled holes didn’t align with pieces exactly. The colour is more cream than I was expecting from the description but it still went well in the bedroom, so just be aware if you are looking for off white as this range wouldn’t be suitable. Slightly annoyed with the delivery, despite being given a delivery slot and ensuring someone was home, they messaged 2 hours after to say that it was rescheduled for after the bank holiday (this was a Friday).
