Really happy that I took the risk and bought this bed. European king is perfect for my hubby and I and two cats, and the occasional kid after a nightmare! The frame looks great, it is solid and you can't tell it was a flat pack at all. There were a couple of small dents in one of the panels but I can deal with that. This bed is a piece of furniture with a modern and light design, which definitely stands out from other wooden beds. This bed has a unique, "broken" headrest, which in combination with supporting brackets creates a very interesting and practical form in use. These properties in combination with the specific shape of the legs make this piece of furniture look very dynamic and will surely appeal to people who like a modern style. Like other furniture from this series, this bed was designed by designer Julia Kononenko. Despite the mentioned "lightness", this bed is an extremely solid piece of furniture. The sideboards and most of the construction elements are as thick as 4 cm! This ensures trouble-free use for many years. Like all Corrigan Studio beds, the solidly twisted bed has no right to creak or sound in any situation. They took care of it by designing special fastenings that connect individual elements of the furniture with each other. This bed frame for the bedroom is made of solid pine combined with the so-called "micro trailers". Such a solution ensures that there are no knots or wood blemishes on the outside of the furniture. Individual elements of the furniture are connected with each other by means of thick metal screws. This furniture can be repeatedly unscrewed and screwed. No boards or laminates are used in the production of Scandia furniture! These products are made entirely of wood!

This is a very good bed made from beautiful beech and sleeping in the bed is an absolute delight. So why four stars - well the beautiful headboard is about 10-15cm too small for modern mattresses as seen in the photo with 15 tog quilt and a firmer memory foam mattress so you can’t really see the beautiful beech headboard. Original and functional furniture, this bed has a specific structure: the base is made of high-quality solid beech wood in natural colour. The body is made of pinewood covered with white paint. The slanting headrest is also made of white painted pine, additionally finished from the top with a beech slat in natural colour. Elegant and unique bedroom: Low bed in a Scandinavian style. The original design impresses and looks refined. The bedroom will become a place of much-needed order and rest after a tiring day. Solid construction for many years: This bed is made of solid beech and pine wood, combined with so-called "micro trailers". Thanks to this, the furniture has no blemishes and knots on the visible side. The bed has a beam called the "fifth leg" in the middle. It is responsible for supporting the bed in its central part. The fifth leg is T-shaped, where a horizontal beam is attached to the front and back of the bed and a vertical beam supports it. As a support for the mattress, we used a solid wooden frame, which when attached to the bed structure significantly strengthens it.
