The Somerset Bed frame is made from solid Brazilian pine that has been reliably sourced. The simple slatted head-end and high foot-end create a lovely-looking bed frame. Do not buy. It is a terrible quality bed. I ended up taking the parts to the recycling centre after partially making it. It came with so many smaller pieces that did not align properly. The white laminate chips. The joins don’t line up. You are also expected to line up the internal wooden baton edging to hold the mattress on the outside frame yourself. I wasted £140 on this.
