I would probably have gone for a honey coloured pine if one had been available but the one thing I have worked out is that pine is not popular anymore and I wanted something to go with furniture I bought back in 2002. If I could have found something preassemled I would have but this was the best I could do under the circumstances. It is solid wood and a good price for what it is. It is also fairly easy to assemble. I am quite pleased with it now it’s up, but I was cursing in the middle of building it because some of the screws are at bit of an odd angle. Mirrors fell out and luckily my fella was able to mend them properly being a joiner but that could have been a disaster if myself or any of my children had opened the doors for the glass to fall on top of them! The mirrors literally weren’t even fixed in properly. Also, the rail is made of wood and bends in the middle so I’ve pretty much paid just over £300 to fix a wardrobe up myself- will have to replace the rail with a metal one. Not very impressed. Wardrobe turned up damaged after being delivered in damaged boxes and no instructions. Have to now wait 1-2 days for instructions to be emailed so I can then order new pieces so I can build my wardrobe. I’m 7 months pregnant and is a hassle I don’t need. Cleared my bedroom ready for the build and now having to wait due to Wayfair customer services not being all that helpful. I’ve bought from here before and never had a problem but this time round I’m extremely disappointed! Product looks good based on undamaged pieces but couldn’t say otherwise. Anonymous. Not yet able to assemble this as after multiple changes in the delivery date, this was finally delivered, box already damaged and edges of all three panels chipped. Now replacement parts dispatched without communication, and delivery date while I on holiday. When I noted that I will not be able to receive it they asked me to ask a neighbour to take in three 1.80x1m panels weighing 70kg which were originally carried by two delivery men and supposed to be delivered to room of choice!.
