Would’ve been five stars had it not been for the mess up with the delivery, only one box arrived one day and I was told I’d have to ring the courier to find out where the second box was which I did didn’t do, then I was asked to do a review on the delivery and it said order complete so I was a bit worried about the second box that was missing, rang up customer services the following day and got a very helpful person who informed me that the second box would be delivered which it promptly was, what I will say is it’s a great shed but allow yourself at least a day Work doing this, it took me an hour just to check that all the parts were present, the biggest flat pack challenge for me for sure, that all aside it’s good value, strong enough and looks the part.. The shed was easy to construct over the course of maybe 6hrs. Simple enough for one person although a second person to help at certain points would make it simpler. Useful to have a power driver as all of it screws together and by hand would be a mindless exercise and add additional time. Thankfully most of the screws are one size, so no time wasted checking the instructions/ looking for which one to use one each section. The only bit that didn’t work perfectly was the sloping panels for the roof and the top panel spanning the door and sides. The panels were flimsy, the reinforcing bars didn’t seem to fit and I had problems attaching them to the base. Don’t overestimate how much stuff will fit inside. It’s perfect for tool storage but you won’t be “working” inside it. I have a mower, a bike at the back, cushions plus a few tools. Comes in managable cardboard cartons, again simple enough for one person to lift. But buyer beware, you will not be able to return the item once opened unless you are puzzle/packaging expert. No maintenance, fully recyclable and looks much better than a plastic shed if not as good a wooden one. Over all excellent value for money.. Amal. London, GB. Thu Jun 25 2026

An extremely attractive potting shed with a handy bench; as its name suggests the Sun Hut is designed for maximum light! The 8 x 4 Sun Hut has four, joinery made windows, all opening and glazed with toughened glass. The shiplap cladding is 12mm slow grown, very high grade FSC approved pine on sturdy 34mm square framing with both floor and roof also in T&G. The framed double door is fitted with a padbolt. Roof felt, assembly instructions and a fixing kit are provided. The shed is finished with a honey brown basecoat preservative treatment ready for top coating immediately on installation to your choice of wood paint or stain. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy). Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of delivery day you will also receive live tracking information. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

A bit flimsy, but I knew that from the description - 38mm structural timber - if I was building one myself, I'd use 2x2 minimum. It assembled easily and had all the necessary bits & pieces, screws, nails etc. I would struggle to buy just the materials for the price of the shed, and then have the time & hassle of building it from scratch - all in all it's a bargain!. This shed looks great once built, however when delivered some parts were damaged, had white paint and screws in parts that didnt require it, but speaking to wayfair customer service they managed to sort something out for us. Whilst building the shed the small panel was uneven and made the overal roof uneven when putting boards on top but as we decided to change the direction of the roof slant, we managed to cover it with the roof felt which doesnt look so bad, once covered. The shed does require you to put silicone on the windows which you have to purchase seperatly but overall once built looks great, and as a bonus has a key lock for extra protection. This modular apex shed is extremely versatile, due to the fact that the side panels can be assembled in any order. The shed is manufactured from 12mm shiplap tongue & groove timber, which has been pressure treated and is brown in colour. Every part of the shed, including the roof & floor is pressure treated and guarantees the timber against rot and insect for 15 years, so you can be assured that the shed will last the test time. The shed is supplied with a tongue & groove floor & roof as standard. Both are also made from 12mm timber, ensuring good strength and durability. If you choose a shed with windows, the windows will be 2mm perspex. The door is braced and ledged for extra strength and rigidity. A rim lock and key are supplied, to allow the shed to be locked and secured when not in use. The door lock, hinges, turn button, and handle are made from galvanized steel so are protected from rust. All fixtures and fittings are supplied, including an assembly guide. Depending on the size of the shed, it should not take more than a few hours to assemble. Two persons are recommended to complete the assembly.
