Title Sturdy, good-looking storage — but be prepared to drill Review We bought this Keter Store-It-Out Max and overall we’re pleased with it. The unit is solid and roomy — the 1200L capacity swallows a surprising amount of garden gear and cushions — and the polypropylene panels look neat in our garden. The panels and fittings feel durable, and once assembled the box feels stable and weather-resistant. Assembly took my daughter and me about two hours from start to finish. All the pieces fit together well and the instructions are clear, so the actual construction was straightforward. However, the panels arrived without pre-punched holes, so we had to drill every single hole ourselves. That was the most time-consuming part and added extra effort and noise if you don’t have power tools or someone to help, it would be much tougher. Other than the drilling, everything else went smoothly the hinges, lid alignment and locking points lined up, and the finished product opens and closes without issue. For the price it feels like good value — attractive, practical storage that should stand up to normal outdoor use — as long as you’re prepared for a bit of DIY work up front. Depth should be 14 - 17 cm and thickness 18mm (max 20mm). The shed is also lockable with the use of a padlock so contents can be kept secure. The total capacity is 842 liters. Made from UV-resistant polypropylene, the storage shed is also very easy to assemble by one person.

Wir haben die Box für draussen bestellt. Dafür ist die Lasur nicht geeignet. Wir haben nach geölt und nachlasiert. Da das für diesen Preis zu erwarten war, geben wir dennoch 4 Sterne. Die Box ist mittig oben und unten durch 2 Streben verbunden. Da wir tatsächlich Sitzauflagen in die Box einlegen wollen, stören uns die oberen Streben. Wir haben daher eine seitliche Aussteifung eingebaut und die oberen Streben weggelassen. Wir haben bewusst eine Box mit geschlossenen Seiten gewählt, da die Box bei uns nicht wettergeschützt steht. Leider ist die Gartenbox Witzel ein Witz. Sie kam in unendlich vielen Einzelteilen bei mir an… alleine die unendlich vielen einzelnen Streben mussten mit einigen Hundert Dübeln zusammen gesetzt werden. Wie das funktionieren soll, ist mir ein Rätsel, weil alles jedesmal wieder auseinanderhält, wenn man das zweite Teil einfügt. Etwas Ponal hat geholfen, jedenfalls die kleineren Seitenteile zusammenzusetzen. Nach etlichen Stunden und nachdem mir 2 Holzdübel abgebrochen sind, musste ich aufgeben. Bloß nicht kaufen!
