A bit flimsy, but I knew that from the description - 38mm structural timber - if I was building one myself, I'd use 2x2 minimum. It assembled easily and had all the necessary bits & pieces, screws, nails etc. I would struggle to buy just the materials for the price of the shed, and then have the time & hassle of building it from scratch - all in all it's a bargain!. This handmade pent Security Shed is superb value for money. The shed is supplied with high grade 12mm shiplap timber to the walls, roof and floor, all on sturdy 44mm square framing. The internal eaves height of 6 ft provides a comfortable interior space for most. All timber is slow grown and FSC approved. The lockable door comes with a full length security hinge and the two small, high level windows are fixed. Doors and window frames are pre-hung for easy assembly. The doors are also fully framed and braced. The Security Shed comes with a base coat preservative ready for you to top coat after assembly. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy). Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.

I bought this product to save myself time in having to build one. Huge mistake!!! The shed arrived damaged for starters, it had also not been put together properly, with nails sticking out here and there, and then on further inspection I saw that the shed is the most flimsy thing you would never want to put even your lawnmower in. The frame is built from 25mm x 40mm timber which wouldn't keep out my dog if he decided to charge at it! There are no supports to the floor which is made from 10mm thick chipboard, meaning there is a good chance that it will definitely at least bounce, and probably break completely if you dropped anything heavy on it. The roof is made of the same 10mm thick chipboard with no supports again. Climbing on this roof would be very dangerous therefore I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to felt it as it isn't felted. We bought this pent bike shed. The roof has been leaking so would recommend you get an EPDM roof (one piece). The roof angle is quite shallow and water doesn’t run off but tends to sit on the felt and leak under by capillary action. Otherwise the shed is holding up well and has faded nicely in the sun. It is constructed from high-grade 12mm shiplap cladding to the walls and tongue and groove boards to the roof and floor all on 44 mm strong framing. Mineral roof felt, fixing kit and assembly instructions are provided. Manufactured in the UK from high-grade Northern European FSC-certified timber and finished with a honey brown basecoat preservative treatment ready for your own top coat of stain or paint. Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.
