I bought this item for my home office and was not disappointed. It is roomy and can store big files. Shelves are sturdy and you can load heavy books on them. But you need to ask someone professional to assemble this cabinet as if you never did it before you would not manage to assemble it properly even with the scheme. Nice little storage unit. Not robust enough for heavy use, but good for home office. Door track is a little flimsey, and can only be fully open or closed, not half way like in pics. Overall decent for price.. Mike. Sun Oct 11 2020

Impulse represents the best value contract office desking and storage available today. Created by specialist designers with a focus on all office furniture needs the products provide refinement on budget. The comprehensive range is fully guaranteed and quality assured.

This is a really substantial cabinet, made from thick well veneered composite board. This makes it HEAVY, but not a bad thing as it's also stable. It can be made by one (in my case septuagenarian) person but it does take some time. The design is such that it's impossible to build incorrectly, which can be a problem where many parts are similar. It would be easier to do if the parts were labelled. Electric screwdriver makes life a lot easier and build quicker as there are lots of screw fittings. The hinges seem quite good, but the bolts and locks not particularly substantial, but serve to keep the doors closed, but would not deter an attempt to gain entry without a key. All together, I would recommend this as a great place to keep all that accumulated junk which 'may be useful sometime in the future! It looks pretty good too.. Christopher. Walton-on-thames, GB.
