We've had the Dakota Fields retractable awning (395cm x 250cm) since May 2025 and have been very happy with it. We went with a manual (non-motorized) version as winding it out is fairly straightforwards and not a hassle. For whatever minor inconvenience that comes with that process, it far outweighs the hassle factor that comes with when the motorized unit eventually fails and the hassle that goes with replacement and inability to be used so I haven't regretted that decision—it operates easily and keeps things simple. We had it installed by a local builder, and every winter we keep it fully rolled in to protect it from the weather. As you can see from the image below - a protective shield over the item during prolonger periods of non-use will most likely prevent the bleaching. The only minor issue we've noticed is a small amount of discolouration on the outer edge, which we suspect is from sun bleaching of the section that remains exposed while the awning is rolled up. A protective cover during prolonged periods of non-use would probably help prevent this. Overall, it's been a great purchase and offers excellent value (€279) so I would recommend it to as a buy.. The bold “Deliveries” sign communicates the purpose to the mail carrier. Prevent the emotional distress, financial loss of replacement, and lost time associated with porch theft. This collection is also used for outdoor storage solutions in your backyard- a wide range of outdoor items and garden supplies will comfortably fit. An interchangeable blank frame piece can be used instead of the “Deliveries” sign when the collection is used for general storage. The angled roof and weather-resistant materials are practical and will keep the contents dry throughout the seasons. A shingled roof and stylish wood grain texture complement most home exteriors. The hinge can hold the lid open without assistance. This extra-large collection interior volume of 6.3 cubic feet is designed to hold multiple large packages or storage items. This new collection is your solution for deliveries and other practical storage solutions for outdoor living.
