I don't think I've ever written a negative review but this really does warrant one. Firstly, the picture does make it look a very heavy duty item - just what we wanted but, in reality, whilst it was metal it's nowhere near as sturdy as it looks. It took us about 2 hours to put together, the instructions were very limited and you're only provided with an allen key which is definitely not enough, thankfully my husband had other tools. We realised we'd got it wrong about half way through and then had to take most of it down again. When we finally got there, we were on the verge of actually returning it but, we pressed on and added clothes and shoes and have decided it will be okay as a short term fix. Disappointed.. Karen. Bought this in March 2025 whilst moving into rented accommodation between house moves. Unfortunately the plastic joints are nowhere near strong enough. I haven’t overloaded the hanging bar (shirts and a light jacket) as I had reservations. After around 10 months it started leaning as the brackets were splitting, I wrapped some cable ties around to strengthen and now they’re splitting in another area. Hoping it will last till September as that’s when we move into the new house.. M. Blackpool, GB. Sat Aug 01 2026
