Well packed. The siding has a protective plastic coating on it to keep from getting scratched during shipment. You need to take that off before assembly. I don't recall anything in the directions about doing that so we didn't discover it until we'd already assembled a few of parts. I recommend wearing the provided gloves as the metal is very sharp on the edges and ends and you can easily cut yourself. The finished assembly has safety edges on the shed so sharp edges are all covered by then. The directions weren't bad but they weren't exceptional either. There were both pictures and written instructions. One big plus was the holes lined up well. It did take hours to assemble. The "floor" is two of the shelves at the bottom. The open part of the shed doesn't have a floor but does have two bars to add strength to the shed. The roof has white plugs for the screws to make it water tight and we had a heavy rain right after assembly and it didn't get wet inside. We placed it behind our above ground pool ladder platform on 10 12x12 leveled cement pavers. We had some high winds after putting it there and because it's in a sheltered area, it stayed fine. I plan to put some of the pavers on the flooring to hold it down better. It will work well to store our pool toys such as goggles and volley ball net and ball. Pleased with the quality. The shed is fantastic, really pleased although not as tall as I was expecting but my fault for not looking at that! This is a really heavy duty and robust storage shed. It takes a bit to put together, but that may have been because we were assembling it between a tree and our fence-line where there was just barely enough space for the shed. Overall, it was not bad to put together as the assembly process is pretty straightforward. The steel poles are very stout and strong. I really don't see the wind taking this shed anywhere, especially if you stake it down. Plenty of stakes and some concrete anchors are included. There are ratchet straps at all four corners. These straps help to tighten and cinch down the outer cover around the covers for the doors at each end. This aspect is a really nice design as it tightens the cover around the door openings to help keep out the elements. The cover material seems pretty robust and can be tightened down with a lot of tension, so even in heavy winds you won't get any flapping or movement of the cover. We bought this shed for garden tool and supply storage in our backyard. Overall, we have been really pleased with it.
