Nice chest. Material is good quality. Instructions are ok, but they don't include how to put the hinges on the top and back. Easy enough to figure out but not sure which hardware to use for attaching to the back. The short flat screws don't fasten and the longer ones don't fit through the holes on the hinge. If someone could send a picture of this part of assembly that would be great.. Jill. Lyndeborough, NH. Mon Jan 13 2025

This item appealed to us for its ageless beauty and endless potential uses. We bought it for our daughter to use as a toybox, but to carry with her into the future as a blanket box, set, coffee table or whatever she chooses. We could not be happier with the item, the craftsmanship is top quality and the finish on the wood is even better than the advertised picture promised. We love the product and would say we got more than our moneys worth in it.. Anonymous. Ickenham, GB. Mon Sep 14 2020

Handcrafted in traditional Chinese style, this solid elm wood blanket box is perfect for tidying away throws, boots and guest linen. Our version is the perfect size for a highly useful coffee table with an oriental twist, or place one at the end of the bed for extra seating and storage. Made of solid reclaimed elm, with dovetail joints and an imposing brass lock plate and fittings.

Delivery took a lot longer than schduled. When the trunk arrived, both side pieces of the lid, in the front corner, were not sloted in well with the piece of wood running along the front of the lid. We had to push it with a bit of force into place. Quite expensive for what it is but does look good.. Jovita. High Wycombe, . Wed Oct 29 2014
