We've had the Dakota Fields retractable awning (395cm x 250cm) since May 2025 and have been very happy with it. We went with a manual (non-motorized) version as winding it out is fairly straightforwards and not a hassle. For whatever minor inconvenience that comes with that process, it far outweighs the hassle factor that comes with when the motorized unit eventually fails and the hassle that goes with replacement and inability to be used so I haven't regretted that decision—it operates easily and keeps things simple. We had it installed by a local builder, and every winter we keep it fully rolled in to protect it from the weather. As you can see from the image below - a protective shield over the item during prolonger periods of non-use will most likely prevent the bleaching. The only minor issue we've noticed is a small amount of discolouration on the outer edge, which we suspect is from sun bleaching of the section that remains exposed while the awning is rolled up. A protective cover during prolonged periods of non-use would probably help prevent this. Overall, it's been a great purchase and offers excellent value (€279) so I would recommend it to as a buy.. Great storage box because it is so long. It was really difficult to find one for my long recliner garden chair cushions. This is perfect and it has a zipped internal waterproof protector to protect the cushions. The large garden storage box is a multi-use storage solution that will accommodate large outdoor items such as lawnmowers, barbeques, garden tools, garden furniture, and children's toys. The unit will also house two small (120 liters) wheelie bins. An opening lid and twin opening doors make it easy access to the contents of the shed and to get awkward or heavy products in and out. Slots in the side walls allow for one or two shelves to be inserted against the back wall. For the shelves, timber board should be cut to a length of 124.5cm. Depth should be 14 - 17 cm and thickness 18mm (max 20mm). The shed is also lockable with the use of a padlock so contents can be kept secure. The total capacity is 842 liters. Made from UV-resistant polypropylene, the storage shed is also very easy to assemble by one person.

I’ve got it, it looks great in several wooden pieces, but I’ve yet to muster enough courage to try to actually build the bloody thing. I hate building stuff, I wish it had arrived already built. I’ve shelved it for now … I’ll see if my builder will attempt to put it together for me. I think this’ll be another ‘scrabble round the floor’ job that’ll involve losing screws, and those awful little key things … that prefer to escape than be used.. Teri. This thing is huge! We bought it to store all of our patio furniture cushions and pillows in to keep them out of the weather. And when I say huge I mean huge, it’s so big we are having a removable table top made to place on top of it so when we entertain on our patio we can use it as a table to serve food. The only downfall that we see is that it could’ve used a hydraulic lift for the lid. But other than that this thing is great. Plan on putting it in a place where there’s lots of room.. Lynnette. OH. Die Aufbewahrungsbox sieht sehr schön aus und der Aufbau ist mir auch gut gelungen. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es, weil ein Klotz falsch dabei war...konnte aber benutzt werden. Oh my goodness.. Holes do not match up with bamboo they're supposed to fit in to.. Husband & son attempting to fix just now..they're about pulling hair out and some choice words re my online purchasing.. Almost £100 isn't exactly pennies... If unable it'll to modify to make it fit holes won't be able to build and it will be returned.. Was so looking forward to having somewhere to store garden cushions rather than in the house..
