The Holt is an attractive and well made British shed featuring high grade 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding and strong 34mm sqauare framing. There are two opening glass windows for added light and ventilation. Faux shutters are also supplied. The double door is fitted with a rim lock and wooden knob. The floor is 12mm matching T&G whilst the roof is solid sheet OSB boards, roof felt is also supplied for the exterior. The shed is dip treated with a preservative base coat ready for your own topcoat of paint or stain. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Very easy to erect and quick decent quality for the price. Although the base is poor using small batton as a base is rubbish so I used 4” 2” to give it more of a Sturdy base most of the batton supplied was damaged anyway only due to large knots in it. The instructions are generic which is a bit rubbish but commence prevailed. The delivery was TERRIBLE the delivery time was a month and wayfair sent me an email stating it will be delivered on a certain date so I took a day off work and had tree surgeons booked to remove a hedge so I could get the large shed in, unfortunately the delivery company came 2 days earlier so the hedge was still up and the shed couldn’t be delivered and then told redelivery will be in two weeks so not very impressed I was very close to cancelling if I’m honest. But couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. So that been said the shed is great but the base is rubbish as it comes so buy some decent timber for the base. Stuart. North Curry Taunton, GB. Very good shed. Very poor delivery service! Be warned - You have to be home for 2 consecutive days to allow for delivery on one of those days!
