I purchased this as it was light weight and perfect to use on a daily basis, rather than dragging out my Henry. Did a good job for around 5 weeks on my laminate floor then it started getting blocked on a daily basis even though it was emptied after every daily use!! Then came the over heating! Gave up with it in the end and took it with other rubbish to the tip!, maybe i just had the one that malfunctioned! But in my opinion it really was a cheap priced bit of junk. You literally get what you pay for.. Donna. Tamworth, GB. Tue Sep 29 2026

Amazing hoover. Abit top heavy so doesn't stand well. Needs to lean against something. However the quality of the hoover out ways this. No hair gets in the brush. The filter has two sections. One only collects hair and the other the dust and dirt. Even if your carpet looks clean ,it sucks up stuff you'd never see. Love it. Long cord too which helps. You can switch from carpet to floor mode. And it's not too loud either. Would recommend. Anonymous. Dundee, GB. Thu May 28 2026

I bought this after I felt my Vax pro power was bulky and heavy but still worked well. I last cleaned my carpets with the Vax about 6 weeks ago and did them today with this and my god, what a machine !!! I have 2 chihuahuas who moult more than a pack of wolves and the amount of hair that it’s removed is outstanding. It also cleaned up old stains really well and new stains completely. My only gripe was the Vax needed one tank for a whole clean but I had to refill 3 times but it’s no hardship, maybe just costly for solution! Totally blown away with the results and a worthy addition to my Shark/Ninja collection. Rachy74. Saltburn North Yorkshire. Fri Sep 18 2026

Discover the power of smarter cleaning with the Shark Detect, designed to tackle everyday mess with ease and efficiency. Its Anti Hair Wrap Plus technology features specially engineered bristles and a clever chevron pattern that pulls in dirt, debris, and hair, guiding it to the centre of the brush-roll where anti-wrap combs actively remove it as you clean. That means no more stopping to untangle hair—just smooth, uninterrupted performance every time. At the heart of the Shark Detect is DuoClean Detect Technology, combining two brush-rolls with intelligent sensors that automatically adjust to deliver optimal cleaning across all floor types. Whether you're moving from carpet to hard flooring or navigating around furniture, DirectionDetect and Reverse Clean Technology sense your movement and adapt, allowing you to clean in both directions—forward and backward—for more efficient results. Plus, FloorDetect fine-tunes brush-roll speed based on the surface, ensuring a deep clean wherever you go. Designed with your wellbeing in mind, the Shark Detect features Anti-Allergen Complete Seal, which captures and traps 99.9% of dust and allergens*, helping to create a healthier home environment. Meanwhile, Anti-Odour Technology works inside the vacuum to neutralize bad smells, keeping your space fresh as you clean. Whether you're dealing with pet hair, everyday dust, or lingering odours, this vacuum is built to handle it all. A Lift-Away Technology gives you the flexibility to transform your upright vacuum into a portable cleaner in seconds. Perfect for stairs, under furniture, above-floor surfaces, and even your car, the Shark Detect is your all-in-one solution for whole-home cleaning. *Based on IEC62885-2 (5.14) at 0.3 - 10 microns.

I bought my Shark a month ago and I’m loving it. Previously I’ve had Dyson’s and the Shark picks up much more dirt! Very impressed 👏🏻👏🏻. 8otty. Northampton. Tue Oct 13 2026
