We've had the Dakota Fields retractable awning (395cm x 250cm) since May 2025 and have been very happy with it. We went with a manual (non-motorized) version as winding it out is fairly straightforwards and not a hassle. For whatever minor inconvenience that comes with that process, it far outweighs the hassle factor that comes with when the motorized unit eventually fails and the hassle that goes with replacement and inability to be used so I haven't regretted that decision—it operates easily and keeps things simple. We had it installed by a local builder, and every winter we keep it fully rolled in to protect it from the weather. As you can see from the image below - a protective shield over the item during prolonger periods of non-use will most likely prevent the bleaching. The only minor issue we've noticed is a small amount of discolouration on the outer edge, which we suspect is from sun bleaching of the section that remains exposed while the awning is rolled up. A protective cover during prolonged periods of non-use would probably help prevent this. Overall, it's been a great purchase and offers excellent value (€279) so I would recommend it to as a buy.. The large garden storage box is a multi-use storage solution that will accommodate large outdoor items such as lawnmowers, barbeques, garden tools, garden furniture, and children's toys. The unit will also house two small (120 liters) wheelie bins. An opening lid and twin opening doors make it easy access to the contents of the shed and to get awkward or heavy products in and out. Slots in the side walls allow for one or two shelves to be inserted against the back wall. For the shelves, timber board should be cut to a length of 124.5cm. Depth should be 14 - 17 cm and thickness 18mm (max 20mm). The shed is also lockable with the use of a padlock so contents can be kept secure. The total capacity is 842 liters. Made from UV-resistant polypropylene, the storage shed is also very easy to assemble by one person.

Delivery bad, didn’t know when it was coming. Box was too fiddly to put together. There was no way my wife could do it. And I had a job. The box is not leak proof had to silicon joints on the inside. Yes I was aware that it had to be assembled by me. I broke a piece of plastic which has affected the way that the lid hinge operates. I like the looks of it. Had it been assembled properly prior to being received by me it would have been worth the money. I just found it awkward to assemble. Lid hinge arrangement cheap and nasty.
