The frame is crafted from solid birch wood with a black finish on the legs for a classic silhouette. Wrapped in faux leather upholstery, the top features deep button tufting and a row of nailhead trim along the base for a refined touch. The piece of furniture in itself is really nice. However, I do advise everyone to check it for flaws before putting together as we didn't (an error of judgement on our part) and only noticed after putting it together it had a tear in the fabric. Also the fitting to attach the gas spring on the lid was at a ninety degree angle. The fitting was fortunately able to be fixed. Maybe better packaging would have helped. I'm still giving it four stars as I like the look of the ottoman and felt if there had been no damage it was would be worth the money.. Mr. Buxton, GB. Fri Aug 06 2021

This luxury Chesterfield storage ottoman is made with quality wood and the lid is made with reflex foam and upholstered in quality plush velvet fabric.

One star because I can't give cero. Appalling courier, DHL, 5 consecutive days announced the delivery and then cancelled. I called Wayfair on the 4th day and they told me that I had entered into a contract and if I didn't take delivery (because I could not stay in more days waiting for it) they will deliver to a neighbour either if I liked it or not. And they would not take cancelation, breaching the distance selling act and the consumer credit act. To make it worst, DHL dropped the item at the front door of the block, not even trying the intercom, I found it there by chance, and the item has arrived faulty.. Laura. Sat Jan 11 2025

I was expecting the buttons on top to be covered in the same fabric as the rest of the ottoman as per the online photo. Instead shiny glass-like buttons have been used which makes it look a lot less elegant, which is unfortunate as it was not an inexpensive purchase. The fabric is also very thin and does not have the plush look I was hoping for. It is a good size and will provide useful storage for blankets.. Anonymous. London. Wed Dec 27 2023
