I wanted this trash bin because of the handle bar open. Motion sensor was out of the question for me because of my narrow kitchen and I shied away from step cans because of accidental opens. It looks good but the steel is thin, thinner than cheaper trash cans I've seen for 1/3 the price. The first one I received had a big dent on the edge. The box and shipping box were not damaged. The second one I received was perfect. The handle bar and manual closing becomes tedious and I wish I opted for a step can. I saw the Kohler step can recently and it has thicker steel, soft close, and feels quality made.. Samuel. Forest Hills, NY. Thu Feb 14 2019

I love this trash can! The last one I had that fit the same J trash bags would always scrape the side of my refrigerator. This one is designed better to sit flush against something and not affect what it is sitting by. It also, is very sleek and goes with the appliances in my kitchen. It has operated great so far and is quiet when the lid closes!. Mary. Lawrenceville, GA. Wed Nov 21 2018
